Considering the increasing attention that the topic of safety in swimming facilities has gained in recent years, AngelEye has expanded its horizons to Scandinavia.

Kristianstads Badrike will be the first swimming facility in Sweden equipped with the AngelEye LifeGuard drowning detection system. In order to guarantee the highest level of safety for the guests of the facility, the municipality of Kristianstad has relied on AngelEye’s decades of experience in the sector.

The facility is scheduled to open in the summer of 2022 and the construction project will be managed by construction company PAEB

The Swedish facility will consist of six different pools, three of which will be equipped with the AngelEye LifeGuard drowning detection system. The competition, warm up and diving pools will be constantly monitored in order to identify dangerous situations or drowning and promptly notify the surveillance personnel.
