New AngelEye installation in central London

The Shard Place is a modern residential structure that is part of the development and redevelopment of the London Bridge district in London, designed alongside two other imposing structures: The Shard (or London Bridge Tower), a 310 m high glass and aluminium skyscraper, and The News Building (or London Bridge Place), a 17-storey structure with 40,000 m² of offices and shops.

The ambitious project was completed by the renowned architectural firm Renzo Piano Building Workshop.

In the coming months, the AngelEye Hotel drowning detection and prevention system will be installed in the pool located on the 27th floor of the luxurious building. Through the state-of-the-art AngelEye technology, residents will have access to a safe and constantly monitored area.

SPSC UK, AngelEye’s partner, will install aerial cameras to provide 24/7 access control and underwater cameras to monitor the pool. The underwater cameras will integrate a powerful and efficient LED lighting system that will allow to simultaneously illuminate the pool with low energy consumption while preserving its modern and elegant design.
