Valby Vandkulturhus is the first public swimming facility in the district of Valby, Copenhagen, and is part of the large sports facility Valby Idrætspark (Valby Sports Park).
Focused on reducing energy consumption without compromising the functionality of the facility, the eco-friendly swimming facility offers various spaces dedicated to swimming and family fun as well as relaxation and wellness.
Given the five pools that make up the facility, the municipality of Copenhagen wanted to ensure water safety by choosing to install the AngelEye LifeGuard drowning prevention and detection system.
