The Pré-Leroy swimming pool in Niort, France, is a public facility that offers citizens the opportunity to enjoy different areas according to their needs. In fact, the swimming facility consists of a 25m x 15m learning pool and a 50m x 20m outdoor Nordic pool, 41 m2 of space dedicated to families complete with water games, a children’s pool, outdoor water play area and sun terrace.
Water safety for the outdoor Nordic pool, which is open in all seasons and where monitoring by lifeguards can be more difficult due to phenomena such as temperature changes that can produce water vapor on the surface, is guaranteed by AngelEye LifeGuard.
Thanks to the underwater cameras, the surveillance staff can clearly see every point below the water surface, even areas of the pool that are more critical, such as the bottom of the pool, which is difficult to reach with the naked eye.
Coverage is also guaranteed by video surveillance cameras installed along the access channel to the pool, also a difficult place to monitor.
